【Longevity Case Study】 Rubber Conveyor Belt Deviation Countermeasures
Measures to prevent foreign object adhesion have also been implemented! Here are examples of measures taken to prevent snake-like movement on both the sending and returning sides.
We would like to introduce a case study on measures taken to address the wandering of rubber conveyor belts. There was an issue where the wandering of the rubber conveyor belt could not be contained, resulting in time-consuming and labor-intensive adjustments. Our company installed a trough-type guide idler on the carrying side and a tapered reverse support return idler on the return side. Additionally, we replaced the return roller with a non-dango type to prevent foreign object adhesion, thereby correcting the belt's wandering. [Case Overview] ■ Issues - The existing tension mechanism adjustments alone could not contain the belt's wandering. ■ Solutions - Since the automatic centering idler was only installed on the return side, we replaced those. - By adding a guide idler on the carrying side and replacing the return roller, we implemented measures to prevent wandering on both the feeding and returning sides. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
